Summer Season Board: Chicory

We don't have too many blue flowers around here so Chicory (Cichorium intybus) always stands out to me once it starts blooming. Fun fact: All of chicory is edible! I personally don't think it tastes the best, but there you go.

Since the flowers are very soft, I used tissue paper for the petals. After they were glued on, I cut up a pom-pom to get blue fluff for the girls to glue on the middle part.

And while you can only see Nora's (2yo) art on the season board, she's slowly getting better at putting the colors in the right places.😊
